Embassy Induction Seminar
The Diplomatic Induction Seminar is an essential introduction to diplomacy in London and is FREE for newly-arrived diplomats and their families. The programme includes specialist workshops in various diplomatic fields and an exhibition of trusted diplomatic suppliers who can help ease diplomatic families into their new lives in London. The event offers plenty of networking opportunities with fellow diplomats in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere..

WDS Power Walk
The WDS will host its popular annual Power Walk, a sponsored walk to raise funds for its Scholarship Programme to train aspiring young women diplomats. The walk will take in London icons as well as monuments to trail-blazing British women, from suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst to warrior Queen Boadicea and the Women in WWII memorial, to name but a few. Open to diplomats and friends, male or female!

YDL Black & White Ball
Join London's young diplomats for a glamorous charity ball in aid of Kid's for Kids which helps poor children in Darfur. Guests will enjoy a champagne reception, three-course dinner, live entertainment followed by a DJ and after party to the early hours, a silent auction, raffle and a chance to win return air tickets and a holiday for two in Thailand.
