Chinese PM greeted by protests outside Embassy

Violence briefly flared outside the Chinese Embassy as Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao arrived on an official visit to the UK. Police clashed with protesters as they attempted to scale the barriers in order to approach the Premier. Several members from the Free Tibet group were arrested.

Pro-China supporters were also present and greeted the Premier with dragon dancers and firecrackers.
