New WDS Committee elected

The Women in Diplomatic Service elected a new committee for 2009/10 at their AGM in March. Andorran Ambassador Maria Rosa Picart was elected Chair replacing Panamanian Ambassador Liliana Fernandez, who is stepping down. Klara Breuer, Deputy Ambassador at the Hungarian Embassy, was voted in as Secretary, replacing Embassy editor Elizabeth Stewart who has completed her two-year term. Two new vice chairs were also elected to the committee, Ugandan High Commissioner Joan Rwabymere and South African High Commissioner Lindiwe Mabuza, and the organisations' new Events Coordinator is Deputy High Commissioner for Uganda Mumtaz Kassam.
