Animal welfare demonstrations

Protesters from animal welfare charities gathered outside the Japanese Embassy to protest against the annual slaughter of 20,000 dolphins, porpoises and small whales in Japanese coastal waters. A protest was also staged outside the Embassy of Iceland, condemning the killing of endangered fin and minke whales.
