IMO HQ gets hi-tech makeover

After a 20-month refurbishment, the IMO headquarters have re-opened for business. The formal re-launch will take place at a special ceremony in mid-June to coincide with the 100th session of the IMO Council.

While the exterior looks the same, the building has been wired up for 21st century communications. The building also represents the latest in energy-efficient green technology.
