On a balmy summer’s evening, US Ambassador Robert Tuttle hosted an big Independence Day garden party in the magnificent grounds of Winfield House. Guests gathered on the lawn for the presentation of the Stars and Stripes by four marines before a rousing rendition of the Star Spangled Banner was sung by soprano Sarah Brightman.
