Ukraine at 90
On a sunny late summer’s day, ambassadors, politicians and journalists joined Ambassador Kharchenko in his lovely garden in Holland Park for a shot of vodka and caviar to mark Ukraine’s 90th anniversary of statehood. It was a historic celebration made all the more meaningful with the region still on edge following the crisis in neighbouring Georgia.
