Teams from the US, Britain, Switzerland and Pakistan competed for the Habib Heritage Polo Cup finals 2008 held at the Royal Military Academy Sandurst (RMAS). The event ended in a thrilling final between The Highbury Finance Helvetica Invitational (representing Switzerland) and The Habib Bank UK Pakistan Invitational in which the Swiss were victorious. Guests of honour enjoying the spectacle included the High Commissioner of Pakistan Wajid Shams ul Hasan, the Ambassador of Nepal Murari Sharma and Commandant of RMAS, Maj Gen D J Rutherford Jones.
