Liquor lotto
The doom and gloom of the financial crisis failed to dampen spirits at the annual Association of Economic Representatives in London Dinner this spring. Around 40 economic and commercial counsellors gathered at the K&K Hotel in West London for a traditional Austrian dinner. Each arrived with a bottle of their own local tipple, which was entered into the ‘Liquor Lotto’ and at the end of the evening, a prize draw was held so that every guest
walked away with exotic drink – from French champagne to Greek retsina, Irish whisky and Polish vodka.
