Kuwait celebrates
Record crowds from London’s diplomatic corps turned out to congratulate Ambassador Khaled Al Duwaisan and his wife Dalal on Kuwait’s National Day. The long queues were a testimony to the popularity of London’s much-loved Dean who still manages to shepherd one of the biggest diplomatic communities in the world with unflagging dedication. Over 1,000 guests were treated to the Al Duwaisan’s generous hospitality with a huge buffet of Middle Eastern fare, and exotic fruit juices.
