Court circuit – Embassy 17 – May 2009

May Revolution Day
Friends of Argentina crowded into the elegant Belgravia residence to toast the country’s May Revolution Day with a glass a fine Argentine Malbec, platefuls of traditional locro, an Inca speciality, and meaty empandas, brought over by the Spanish colonials. It was also a chance to say farewell to Enrique Ferrer Vieyra, the outgoing Chargé d’Affaires, who has served at the Embassy of seven years, and to welcome his successor, Osvaldo Marsico.
