Queen’s Birthday
The Institute of Directors turned orange for one day only as ambassadors, peers, MPs and throngs of friends of the Netherlands turned out in force to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday. Despite the sombre news of an attack on Queen Beatrix’s Birthday Parade back home, all were determined to show solidarity for the Dutch on their national day.
