Lord Mayor’s Easter Banquet
The fallout of the financial crisis was the focus of Foreign Secretary David Miliband’s speech to heads of mission at the Court of St James’s at the annual Lord Mayor’s Easter Banquet, held in the sumptuous surroundings of Mansion House. Reflecting on the recent G20 Summit, Mr Miliband said the crisis had heralded an age of multilateralism in which “power [is] dispersed and responsibility shared” whether in banks, companies or states.
