The Surrey Children’s Choir serenades guests from the stairs of Canada House
Happy Birthday Canada
On a hot summer’s day, the Canadian community celebrated Canada Day with field hockey and music on Trafalgar Square, while diplomats, business people and politicians joined High Commissioner James Wright, his wife Donna and Bob Wilfur, CEO of First Capital Management, for a reception inside Canada House. Singing from the Surrey Children’s Choir greeted guests to Canada House, which looked festive, draped in a row of maple-leaf flags with a huge birthday card on display signed by the community. Canadian diplomats looked rather festive too, sporting a series of fake tattoos.
