A decade on the throne
Ambassadors, high-level politicians and businessmen all joined the Ambassador
of Jordan Dr Alia Bouran at a splendid reception to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the accession HM King Abdullah II of Jordan at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel. The event coincided with US President Barack Obama’s trip to the Middle East so diplomats, politicians and journalists seized the opportunity to exchange views on his landmark speech on renewing America’s relations with the Muslim world.
