Chile’s housewarming
Chile’s friends in the UK turned out to join Ambassador Rafael Moreno and his wife Gloria for the opening of Chile’s new Embassy. Guests were delighted to welcome an old friend back to London, Chile’s former Ambassador Mariano Fernandez, who is now the country’s Foreign Minister. After the mission was blessed by the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Faustino Sainz Muñoz, Ambassador Fernandez gave a speech in which he said the Embassy’s
location at the heart of the capital brought Chile even closer to Britain. A Chilean seascape by artist Maria Luisa Hernandez was also unveiled.
