Court circuit – Embassy 21 – December 2009

The Ambassador of Croatia with Dr Oleg Levitin (EBRD)

Happy holidays
The festive season in London was kicked off with a cultural evening co-hosted by the Ambassadors of Bosnia-Herzevogina and Slovenia. The guest speaker was the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Select Committeee, who gave an upbeat speech in which he concluded that an EU with the Balkans would be a stronger union. After the speeches, guests enjoyed a stirring performance of traditional Balkan music by Slovene soprano Irena Preda, accompanied by cutting-edge Bosnian musician Dado Dzihan. Guests were treated to an authentic Bosnian buffet and fine Slovene wines, while enjoying a joint exhibition featuring Bosnian artist Sonya Radan and Slovene artist Arjan Pregl – a perfect way to get in the holiday mood.
