Dean’s welcome
The Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and the Embassy of Kuwait teamed up with the Young Diplomats of London for a reception to welcome newcomers to London. The newly-elected President of the YDL, Verne Augustin, gave an introduction to YDL and explained all the networking opportunities it offered, after which the Ambassador of Kuwait offered advice from his 16 years in the capital on how to make the most of this
vibrant diplomatic hub. Outgoing president Bernard Hamilton also thanked the YDL sponsors IDS and BMW Park Lane as well as the Embassy of Kuwait, for their continued support.
