Barbados bash
On a cold winter’s evening, the Barbados High Commission brought a little Caribbean cheer to the capital in celebrating the island’s 43rd Anniversary of Independence. The guest of honour was George Hutson, Minister of International Business and International Transport, who was in town for the IMO Assembly and also headed up a delegation of business people. The Minister told the audience of diplomats and Barbadian diaspora that the island was in good shape to take on the challenges brought about by the recent financial crisis.
