Revolution Day
It was a tale of two gatherings: a large contingent of ambassadors joined Iranian Ambassador Rasoul Movahedian inside his Kensington Residence on Prince’s Gate to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, while outside a crowd of protesters gathered. But Ambassador Mohavedian, who has seen many ups and downs in Iran’s diplomatic relationship with the UK, took it in his stride.
