Brunei’s birthday
Diplomats and the Bruneian community in the UK joined High Commissioner Pengiran Dato Maidin Hashim and his wife Datin Hajah Sunah Abdul Hamid for a birthday reception at the Dorchester to celebrate the sultanate’s 26th anniversary of Independence. Guests enjoyed a delicious banquet of Southeast Asian cuisine after which the High Commissioner, his wife and family gathered to cut the Bruneian birthday cake.
