A panoramic photo exhibition greeted guests queuing to congratulate Ambassador Ron Prosor on Israel’s national day, reminding them of what they were celebrating. Joking that not even the volcanic ash cloud could keep people away from the party, the Ambassador also warned of a looming “dark cloud” that was seeking to “[demonize] the State of Israel” and he urged all present to be fearless in their defence of Israel, and to celebrate its democratic values and traditions of innovation.
