Namibia turns 20
Dance troupes greeted guests as the Namibian High Commission threw a party to celebrate the country’s two decades of independence. In his speech, the Namibian High Commissioner George Liswaniso reminded guests that Namibia’s freedom had been hard won and the task ahead was to convert freedom into prosperity.
