Toasting Georgia
Diplomats and friends of Georgia joined Ambassador Giorgi Badridze to toast to his country’s National Day with the finest wine from Georgia – thought to be the birthplace of wine. In his address, the Ambassador said his country had faced many challenges and thanked the international community for its support in helping to bring about a peaceful resolution to the recent conflict in South Ossetia.
