Having a ball
On a glorious summer’s day, Slovenian Ambassador Iztok Jarc and his wife Helena hosted a garden party in the grounds of the Travellers Club. Held mere hours before kickoff on the day of Slovenia’s World Cup match against England, all anybody could talk about was football. In the spirit of friendship, a birthday cake in the shape of a football was presented and cut by both the Ambassador and Mark Pritchard MP, who is chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Slovenia.
