Canadian celebration
On Canada Day, diplomats, politicians and captains of industry joined High Commissioner Jim White and his wife Donna inside Canada House for a celebration of all things Canadian, while outside a sea of happy Canadians revelled on Trafalgar Square. The High Commissioner’s wife helped set the informal celebratory tone for the day, wearing an ice hockey T-shirt given to her by an Innuit team from Deline, thought to be the birthplace of the Canada’s national sport.
