Toasting Macedonia
With a backdrop of pristine Macedonian scenes, Ambassador Marija Efremova welcomed guests to her country’s Independence Day celebrations at Portcullis House, co-hosted with the Henry Jackson Society.
The guest of honour was Greg Hands MP, who in his speech praised Macedonia for overcoming great difficulties in its progress towards joining Nato and the EU.
