The worlds of diplomacy, politics, business and art all combined at a colourful celebration of Uzbekistan’s National Day. Ambassador Otabek Akbarov and his wife Khayrinisa treated guests to tasty Uzbek cuisine, as well as a fashion display and a fascinating exhibition by Dutch artist Ronald Kleijer who paints Uzbek landscapes and people in the style of Dutch
Old Masters.
