Combined Attaché Ball
The Combined Attaché Ball caused a big splash as this year – naturally as it was organised by the Naval Attaché Association. The Committee outdid themselves with an evening of sumptuous dinner, amazing raffle prizes – including luxury trips abroad and amazing electronics – and dancing until the small hours. Despite the tough economic times, the defence attaché/adviser community did not hesitate in splashing out to raise an astonishing £15,750, which was equally divided between three good causes: the Royal Marines Charities, ABF The Soldier’s Charity and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
