Africa Day
African heads of mission, parliamentarians and diplomats joined together to celebrate Africa Day with a festival of music and dance, courtesy of ACD Arts and the Ugandan High Commission. The Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps the High Commissioner for Botswana Mr Roy Blackbeard welcomed guests after which they heard an address by the Guest of Honour HE Francisca Tachoup Belope, the Minister for Budget and the Economy of Equatorial Guinea, representing President Obiang, who is the current Chairman of the African Union.
