Portuguese Ambassador Joao de Vallera and his wife, Mrs Margarida Azevedo, welcomed guests into their Belgravia Residence to celebrate their first Portugal Day since their arrival in London. The day celebrates Portugal’s national literary icon, Luis Vaz de Camoes, whose epic poems evoke Portugal’s great voyages of discovery – a subject about which the Ambassador himself is passionate.
