Slovak pride
Ambassadors, parliamentarians and members of the Slovak community joined Slovak Ambassador Miroslav Wlachovsky and his wife Jaroslava to celebrate their first National Day in London. Addressing the audience, the Ambassador said he was just one of many Slovak ambassadors in the UK, referring with pride to the many young Slovak professionals who live and work in the UK and promote a positive image of the country which in its short existence, has overcome many challenges, from being the ‘black hole’ in Europe to its star pupil.
