Venezuelan fiesta
Venezuela’s Bicentennial celebrations took place at Bolivar Hall, Venezuela’s cultural venue which sits in the shadow of the Miranda House, once the epicentre of the Latin American independence movement. It was there that the heroes of the Latin American revolution met with Fransisco Miranda to discuss the liberation of the continent. A portrait of those historic events was on display as Venezuelan Ambassador Samuel Moncada and his staff welcomed guests to the celebrations.
