Bravo Bahrain
Bahrain has never had a bash quite like it. Dressed in traditional costume, Shaikh and Shaikha Khalifa welcomed guests to the plush Dorchester, the interior of which was transformed in to a Bedouin feast, complete with tables groaning with Middle Eastern fare, a tent with crafts demonstrations and henna tattooing, as well as musicians, who at the end of the evening, also displayed the laidback contemporary culture of Bahrain, swapping their traditional instruments for electric guitars and livened things up with a rendition of Hotel California.
