The Young Diplomats of London banished London's cold winter snap with a sizzling hot Latin Party held at Canning House in early February. After knocking back a caipirinha or two to lose any inhibitions, London's young diplomatic set were ready for their salsa lesson, which got the whole room singing and swaying to a seductive Latino beat. The tempo increased until the stroke of midnight when Brazilian dancers in feathered headdresses and sequinned bikinis descended on Canning House, bringing a bit of Rio's carnival spirit to Belgrave Square. But it's not all fun and games: the proceeds will be going towards the Discovering Latin America charity, which raises money for social programmes across Latin America.
