United in grief
Members of the Chinese community, diplomats, politicians and businessmen joined Ambassador Fu Ying in a memorial service to the thousands of Chinese people who lost their lives in the recent earthquake. Visitors to the Embassy were invited to sign the Book of Condolences and view an exhibition of the devastation of the earthquake before attending the service in which the Ambassador gave a speech and children of staff at the Embassy read poems for the many Chinese school children who lost their lives.
