A Stranger in Europe
Two former Foreign Secretaries, Sir John Major and Baron Hurd, returned to King Charles Street for the launch of 'A Stranger in Europe: The EU from Thatcher to Blair'. This is the new book by former Europe adviser to three Prime Ministers, Sir Stephen Wall, which tells the inside story of Britain's volatile relationship with Brussels over the past 25 years.
A drinks reception in the Map Room was organised by Oxford University Press in conjunction with the FCO Historians team.
