Defence Attachés dig deep for charity
This year London’s defence attaché community dug deep in their pockets to raise a staggering £20,000 at the Combined Attaché Ball, organised by the Air Attaché Association and attended by more than 300 guests.
The funds were divided evenly between the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Royal Naval Benevolent Fund and the Benevolent Fund Soldiers Charity and cheques for £6,666.66 were presented to each organisation at the office of the Doyen of the Air Attaché Association, Brigadier General Nolte in the German Embassy.
