Protests at Chinese embasssies

MADRID/KATHMANDU – Around 300 protesters, including Tibetan exiles singing their national anthem, converged on the Chinese Embassy in Spain on Saturday to protest Beijing’s crackdown on anti-government protests. On Sunday, a group of 200 Tibetan exiles tried to storm the Chinese visa office in Nepal’s capital on Sunday but were beaten back by bamboo-wielding police.
