Switzerland opens embassy in Kosovo

PRISTINA – Switzerland is the third country to open an embassy in Kosovo after Britain and Germany. Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey visited Kosovo over the weekend where she officially opened the embassy. Switzerland is one of the 33 countries that have recognized Kosovo since its declaration of independence on 17 February.
