Historic US Embassy opens
BERLIN – After 70 years, the US Embassy has moved to its home next to the Brandenburg Gate, after a delay caused by fire, WWII, the cold war and town planning.
It's not the prettiest of buildings, thanks to security requirements, and German critics have likened the Embassy to a council flat or Fort Knox |
